Start > Run > Msconfig (press enter)
On the General Tab, Click on Expland File
In the File to Restore textbox, Enter Appwiz.cpl, The Save File in Textbox should automatically configure itself to C:\Windows\system32\ (if it doesnt, you enter it) …
And Put your XP Cd in the drive and Click on Browse From of Restore From section …
Hopefully this will restore the file …
