Unable to add information in to an Adobe editable form in Firefox Browser. Let me tell you what are the steps I had tried to come to an perfect solution of this issues.

I tried reinstalling Firefox browser after deleting Mozilla Firefox folder from program files and AppData. which removes all settings and Add-ons from Firefox and install a fresh Firefox Browser. Which didn’t help resolving this issue.

Downloaded and reinstalled Acrobat Reader from this url – https://get.adobe.com/reader/ . still it didn’t help.

I could see the setting in Firefox – Setting – Option – Applications

Portable Document Format is set to “Use Acrobat reader DC default”.

and here the pdf is getting downloaded to the hard disk where as I need to enter data to the editable pdf form inside Firefox Browser.

After much google I could get to know that “The 64-bit version of Firefox does not recognize or support the Adobe Reader browser plugin; you can use the built-in PDF Viewer instead.”

I just searched for 32 bit version of Firefox Browser and downloaded from this url https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-stub&os=win&lang=en-US and then in setting in Firefox – Setting – Option – Applications

Portable Document Format is set to “Use Acrobat reader DC (in Firefox)” . shown in image-1

After installing 32 bit Firefox and setting in Firefox Browser Application to open Adobe
