Issue – Code 80072F8F Error running Windows update in Windows 7
You must be getting this error running Windows update in Windows 7 Operating system. There are possible reason why do we get 80072F8F Error running Windows update.
One of the solution is check if you have correct internet connection with proper gateway and dns address. Else switch to other internet connection and try once more running Windows update.
Another solution is to check the date and time in the system, if its not set to current date and time then you might get this error running Windows update.
Solution -Go and click Start – Control Panel – Date and Time, there change the date and time to current date and time.
Restart the machine once and try windows update again.. It should work fine now
